Top Mountain Bike Destinations

The International Mountain Bicycling Association, IMBA, Ride Center designation spotlights standout mountain biking communities. These communities have a variety of high-quality trails and standout experiences for every style of rider, both on and off the bike. 

The cities of Bentonville, Fayetteville and Hot Springs have all landed the title of being IMBA Ride Centers. Northwest Arkansas also stands out as the first-ever Regional Ride Center in the nation. 

Bentonville has staked its claim as the Mountain Biking Capital of the World. The city has an extensive system of singletrack that connects to downtown with access to regional trails via the OZ Trails system. Award-winning restaurants, numerous coffee and craft breweries, and the world-famous Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art also call this city home. 

Fayetteville is known for its bounty of easy-to-access trails within the city. As the home of the University of Arkansas and the Razorbacks, the city is a hotspot for fun and is also known for its restaurants, vibrant arts and entertainment scene, and surrounding outdoor beauty. 

Hot Springs is surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains and has a national park, a thriving arts community and craft breweries like Superior Bathhouse Brewery, the first brewery in the nation to be located inside a national park. Arkansas is fortunate to have five IMBA Epics in the state and Hot Springs is 30 minutes to an hour away from three of them.
